It’s not true that cheetahs

It’s not true that cheetahs can be “friendly pets” while leopards can’t. Neither of these wild cats should be treated as pets.

Cheetahs are often thought to be friendly, but they are actually one of the most common animals to attack people in captivity. People often make the mistake of thinking cheetahs are tame, which can lead to dangerous situations. Even housecats can suddenly get overstimulated and bite, so it’s important to never assume any big cat is safe to pet.

While cheetahs and leopards both attack in different ways, cheetahs are less dangerous. They usually latch onto a leg and bite, while leopards are more likely to kill if they attack. In fact, cheetahs have only been recorded killing one person, and that was in a zoo when a woman snuck in at night.

Both cheetahs and leopards are wild animals and shouldn’t be kept as pets. They would not have a happy life being treated like one. Even though cheetahs are less dangerous than leopards, they’re still wild animals and can be dangerous.
